Dr. Farella believes that continuous personal communication between physician and patient is absolutely essential, from initial consultation to the last post-operative visit. To establish a solid relationship of trust and open expression, he provides complimentary and completely private consultations, allotting as much time as necessary. He makes every effort to know his patients well, to listen and understand their needs and desires, always staying in touch with each patient's feelings and making himself easily available.

Initial visits are used to develop realistic expectations and to determine if the patient is a candidate for a particular surgical procedure. Cosmetic surgery is an adjunct to good health. Preliminary visits include a focused personal history analysis, physical exam and an in-depth written evaluation.

Dr. Farella carefully explains procedures with their possible complications, as well as the expected recovery period. He provides patients with videos, brochures and photos of procedures, along with a tour of his operating room facility and an introduction to the staff.

Cosmetic surgery is no longer a luxury reserved only for the very rich and famous. When the surgery proposed is cosmetic and does not involve insurance reimbursement, patients are given the opportunity to discuss a financial plan. If applicable, Dr. Farella and the Center's staff will assist you with your financial needs.
