Mommy Makeover

Conveniently located to serve Westchester, White Plains, Bronx, Mt. Kisco & Riverdale

There is nothing more beautiful and rewarding than the ability and experiences of creating life. The bond that is created between the mother and the child through breast feeding and nurturing is truly a miracle. Most mothers would say it is the best and most loving experience of their lives.

As a result of pregnancies and breast-feeding many mothers see changes in the appearance of their bodies. The resulting changes are due to weight gain, hormonal changes, stretching of the breast and abdominal skin due to breast-feeding and the developing fetus. Multiple pregnancies, becoming pregnant at an older age, the amount of weight gain, and genetics all play a role in the appearance of the mother’s body.

What is a Mommy Makeover?
The Mommy Makeover involves a combination cosmetic surgical procedures to correct the breasts and the contour of the body. The mommy makeover addresses changes in the breasts by lifting, enlarging or reducing them. In addition, the mommy makeover reshapes or contours the body by the use of liposuction and the tummy tuck. Breast surgery and body contouring procedures can be done at the same time restoring the woman’s pre-pregnant silhouette.

In/Out Patient
Since a Mommy Makeover often involves multiple surgical procedures performed at the same time, the patient will be put under anesthesia, and the surgery will last up to six hours. If the combined surgeries are expected to exceed six hours, they will be separated into more than one surgical date. Dr. Farella will provide his recommendation to the patient after the consultation.
